Druzy Celestite Specimens

You will receive ONE celestite specimen, intuitively chosen. Each specimen will vary in size due to their unique nature -- no two are the same! These specimens are extremely fragile and slightly crumbly due to celestite's fragile nature, so please handle with care. It is normal to have tiny bits come off of the geode.

ABOUT: Celestite (also known as celestine) derives its name from the latin word caelestis meaning celestial, which in turn is derived from the latin word caelum meaning sky, or heaven. Celestite occurs in crystals found mostly in sedimentary rocks. Skeletons of the protozoan Acantharea are made of celestite. Colors of celestite range from light blue to light blue-ish gray, with occasional inclusions of white or brown. Celestite can feel tacky or sticky, which is normal. As the stone is exposed to air, the stone hardens and the tacky feeling goes away.

Celestite helps amplify psychic abilities, and enables you to see messages much more clearly, and for what they really are. SPECIAL CARE: Due to its delicate nature, celestite should not be stored in a way where other crystals or objects can scratch it. Celestite is a very soft and fragile stone that can scratch, crack or break easily if not handled properly. Do not keep celestite in the sun, as it will fade the coloring of your crystal. To charge celestite, it is recommended to place the crystal in moonlight or charge with a selenite charger. If you opt to use moonlight as your charger, please remember to place the celestite back into a safe place before the sun arises to avoid fading. Do not use water to clean celestite, and do not place celestite in water.
